So beautiful;we should freeze the story at this moment.I know this is one of the final acts for yu wen,it rips my heart out to see the events leading to his axeing out. Nevermind about his soul living on,or his memory staying alive in a mere 4 persons' hearts,i want his whole person alive.Or him being made an angel is also cool.Not just a mere firefly.
You couldve made the story go another way at this point,artist,u didnt need to follow the awful storyline of the author.I bought this book solely for the kid wen.You killing him is like killing my trust in your works.I was hoping for malaysian comic to hold some potential,guess i was dead wrong.wen couldve been stung by a normal bee for example,he couldve had sacrificing for his sister in mind but didnt have to die.he couldve had mild immunity to the poison due to his interaction with the dart frogs earlier in the story.His muleheaded sister couldve put her stupid jealousy aside n focused on the task at hand and actually noticed the bee getting too close n shoo it away.Whats the use of creating a likeable character if u're just going to kill him?Thats just stupid,so SOO STUPID.I didnt buy and read ur book just to let my heart be ached everytime i see him die.He didnt even die worthily.He didnt receive any recognition or memorial for his sacrifice.The adults in the story didnt even believe the story of the killer bees.The only one who knew was the coach,who didnt even bother to convince the rest of them about the truth.He didnt even bother to report to the police about such an important piece of news,until after he failed in his switcheroo tactic.I mean,who in their right mind would be such a smart aleck to deal with a crime scene himself,being a non police,and with the matter tied to the death of a neighbour's child?Doesnt that spell serious enough to rope in the law?And the so called american president,doesnt LOOK like any american president ive ever known,he sure doesnt look like obama to me.and his words and actions are so lame,i wonder if hes genuine or a fake!So the cute wen died for a fake president??!How is his death worth anything? You know what i would rather see?I'd rather see him getting caught by the director on his escape from the place after the bees were leaked.I'd rather the director have a mild sadistic desire to see boys getting caned,and so in his desperation and frustration and in a bid to release his pent up stress,start calling wen a naughty child for snooping where he doesnt belong,and use that as premise to give him stroke after stroke of cane on his butt,making him wail,shriek and cry his eyes out,and perhaps faint.I havent thought in detail how it'd go from there,but it'd roughly involve the professor sneaking out to deliver warning to wen's sister min,which will eventually lead to his rescue,despite him being a potential hostage.And apart from a few bruises,scrapes and a very sore butt from the obsession caning,wen will not have any part of him damaged in any way,and will recover after a few days in hospital,though he might need a few theraphy sessions to dispel his fear everytime he sees a cane or stick being wielded.If the bees had to sting someone to death to convince the police of the serverity,it will NOT be wen,maybe it could be a farm animal like a chicken,but definitely NOT him.He can be put through a terrifying and painful experience,but NOT one which will take his life or damage him irrepairably.
